We use the NAPA lines all the time. With fittings both ends, all you need is the closest combination of lengths, and some proper brake line unions, to make the finished size. Anything is safer than compression fittings. The section of line that's behind the gas tank may surprise you with a lot of rust! Insulating clamps every couple feet will give your lines a longer life.

Thanks. I'm gonna measure all my lengths tonight so I can order the correct lengths. I have a flaring tool so I'll order long if need be.

I hear that about the gas tank. One of my straps on it broke yesterday so I'll be looking behind there soon to see the condition of the line.

BTW, do you know if the Ram has 3/16 or 1/4" lines?

Pull the NAPA numbers off their website and you can order at the NAPA store (they're probably just too dense to find the part numbers on their own computer).  Save the shipping.

And if you have AAA, NAPA gives a 10% discount.

Hrmm, interesting...

Are the ports on the master cylinder different sizes? According to NAPAs listing for a master cylinder they are:

Line Thread Size: 1/2-20, 9/16-18

That's just for the jumper line from the frt. of the master cylinder to the ABS valve, about 10" X 1/4" line. You won't need to replace that one.

It's got to go better than changing your spark plugs.   Laughing

Oh I know that sorry, didn't mean to confuse the issue. Just something I ran across.

He contacted me a few years ago about something that I don't remember now but haven't heard from him since.  I don't have any record of his email now.
