I see the new owner is very excited about it. I sent him a link to this website and the build info.

Hey guys. I'm still alive. Just been busy. Glad it's in a new home. You can point him my way with any questions too if I can ever help.

Hi Billy, My name is Chuck, I'm the new owner of the truck. Thanks for the offer to help, but at least for now I think I have it under control (big part to your excellent documentation of everything that was done and receipt trail)...the previous owner 5.94x4 was also helpful in answering a few questions and also working for dodge for 10 years and being an auto tech helps
This truck is my 4th square body Dakota. I've wanted to build one for a long time and had actually just bought a 94' to start a build with a week before I found this truck for sale..All I can say is you build a HELL of a truck!!! I brought it home 3-6ish-15 and since have given it some mechanical TLC the body and interior and underneath is still perfect, the airbag light was on and was resolved with a new clockspring, the cruise switch also needed replacement, synthetic oil change, a couple fuses and bulbs, greased everything, rocker arm adjustment, coolant temp sensor, coolant flush, installed bkr7e ngk plugs (There was heat range 5's in it?) it had a stock 318 computer which I replaced with an automatic mopar performance 360 computer then "tricked" 3 circuits so all functions worked properly and it doesn't set any codes and still has diagnostic mode with the DRBII/III's, i also got a replacement knee blocker because there was some switches that did nothing and they bothered me lol, still have to get the headliner relined but other than that i think its ready to go for now....This truck has literally had NOTHING done to it in the last 10 years/17,000 miles, lol still has the original tires from when it was built 10 years ago on it and they are getting cracked...I guarantee they will not survive the summer haahaha...... Like advertised by 5.94x4 it was identical to how it was in the build and aside from the few issues, the great price i paid and the fact i only had to go 1000 miles to pick it up, i couldn't be happier....truly in love with the truck....haha
Thanks again Billy for building the truck and Thanks again 5.94x4 for selling it to me!!
Ah! now i remember the big thing that was wrong with the truck, i don't know how i could forget this one, lol, this is something that may have been going on even since you owned it billy, at least to some extent, but thought to be a tune issue and seemingly everyone thought the same, I found it by accident LOL, basically the issue was it wouldnt "rev hard" past 3500-4000rpm and i know reading your past posts and all the other owners forum posts i could find it was always described to run kinda doggy for its size and mods and thought to have a tune issue that wasn't resolvable due to obd1. it would rev past 4000, just not quickly, im sure 5.94x4 would know what i mean the best, anyways the catalytic converter was partially melted in, i pulled it just because i thought it seemed quiet and wanted it a little louder and was going to punch the guts out, which of course i still did, lol, i knew just by looking at it there was gonna be more than the 5-10hp increase i was initially thinking, but really its unbelievable now, lol now its almost hard to not spin tires in 1st or 2nd and can chirp aggressively into third if desired, definatly rev's hard to redline now in any of the first three gears at least (that's 90mph top of third btw haven't gone any faster than that and that was just once i had it that fast, crazy how fast the speedo climbs lol) Im probably going to take it to the track just once this summer just to see, not sure of the condition it was originally but i can say now it definatly feels like it has a 408
Thanks Again Guys!!!

Will do billly, it doesn't seem to be real active on this forum but seems like when a question gets asked it does get answered just might take a little while....or maybe its that all the questions have been asked and answered already so new ones don't come about as much. I joined a little while back but due to that fact never posted anything.... i'm still recovering from the initial purchase but I can say for sure... as much as you guys may have thought.... the truck isn't done
maybe will start a build thread at some point so you guys can follow along as you like......
I am one of those guys where things are NEVER done....my plan is for this truck to be my "lifetime" project and things will be upgraded as they break and/or as funds allow..... (And things ARE going to break, if you guys couldn't tell i'm hard on stuff lol, first thing is probably gonna be a transmission to match the sweet shifter that 5.94x4 installed lol)
