Yeah that is a cool lookin' truck.

I'm curious how your electrical cut out works over time.  I like the idea of it but I used one in the past (different brand) and it wasn't long before it wouldn't close properly and leaked.  Hope you have a better expereince with yours.

gonna be a couple weeks before the nitrous goes in. got a few things to get yet.

and i am also wondering about the cutouts longevity. i have seen mixed reviews. it wont be opened and closed that often. mostly closed. and a few things i read said that alot of people just need to clean the butterfly off to get rid of the exhaust soot.

Are the flares made by Rugged Ridge? Ive read mixxed reviews as well on the cut outs. I seem to remember a lot of people switched from that style to the manual "cap" that they unscrew when they want to run the exhaust open. Though that's a bad option if you live in a place like Erie Pa as the road salt will rust it closed instantly then the rust will eat them away till there open always. Lol

i already have the manual cap installed. so if they mess up i will just go back to it. i am in ohio. so alot of salt here too. but i donnt drive it much. it never seen any salt this winter.

the flares are Prestige. not to bad, fitment was good. got them on amazon. for like 350 shipped.

That's a good deal. Never heard of them, I had a set one time from Rugged Ridge off EBay for the same price. They were total junk, never could get them flush with the body, and the slightest little hit caused them to break around the mounting holes. Ended up buying Bushwacker flares so tryjng to save cost a lot more in the end as I had both sets painted two tone to match the truck. I really hope you don't have the same issue.
