Without prior warning, photobucket wants $400 a year for my pics to show up now.  They call it 3rd party hosting.  My pictures won't show up anymore until I pay up with an automatic renewal charge each year.  It is their new form of ransom ware I guess.  lol  I suppose they figure people are so entrenched in photobucket that they'll pay the fee.

Quite frankly, photobucket has been virtually impossible for me to use with my older computer with all their ads and other bs that just bogs my computer down to the point I can't even get a pic downloaded and obtain a link.  I can spend an hour screwing around with it and get nowhere.

I've got to find another method of attaching pictures to the forums than photobucket.

Does anyone know how this can be done without using photobucket?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

A public photo on Facebook may work, that way people should see it even if they don't have a Facebook account.  I will send you a message with the code I use to get your ad to display later tonight.

What Photobucket did to you and everyone else is Extortion/Ransom!!!  This might be the end of Photobucket, there will surely be many lawsuits over this.

I have an Idea...  The main pic currently at the top of your web page,  I have a photoshop guru that can write what you want over it and if need be we can host the picture here as a link to your site.  Let me know

Im not a huge tech smart guy but This may be helpful. For the cost of an inexpensive server one can cut dependencies on third party greedmongers like photobucket..

I was able to get my images to show again by logging into my PB account, clicking on the Magnifying glass Icon on each image, then when reloading the forum page they appeared again.

Probably cached then, and likely only for you but not for other users. Try private browsing mode to see if they show up in it.

Thanks Chris!  I'll consider this as well as other possibilities.  Currently I spent time finding a better computer and am trying to get orders out, yours being one of them.  lol    As soon as I come up for air I'll look into this more thoroughly.

Thank you very much.  As soon as I get a little more time I'll sift through that information for a more informed decision.
