So I bought a 2002 Dodge Ram 2wd , it had a nasty engine noise,  I have a 360 out of a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited, I bout the carb conversion intake and HEI distributor setup, I was goin to use it in another vehicle but if I can drop it I. The truck I would rathe do that. Does anyone know if it will swap in relatively easy or should I just bite the bulllet an buy another 3.7?

You would need a 5.9 wiring harness, PCM, gauge cluster and 46re transmission out of another Ram.  The 3.7 transmission wont work with the 5.9.

Swapping in a new or junkyard 3.7 would be way easier.

That's what  I figured, I built the magnum 360 with carb setup and hei distributor and had it in a grand Cherokee until the body  gave up, was hoping to knock out two problems. I have been lookin for a 3.7 there are slot on eBay but I'm concerned  with buying a engine in a different state from a scrap yard

I've had good luck with junk yard motors.  Try to find one that's newly wrecked so you can hear it run before they pull it.

Why would he need all of that stuff?  He is going carb, so all he needs is a 46RH trans and probably some guages

Yeah I bought a carb intake that's dual bolt pattern intake for a magnum 360 , also have a Hei distributor so the motor needs no electronics. I have a 2wd trans out of a 95 dodge truck. My concern was the actual fitment if I will be able to mount engine to the truck and be able to mount the trans in the same general area or if it would be a lot of fab work?

You'll need the 360 Motor mounts possibly.  I'm not 100% sure on the trans mount if it will bolt right in but if it doesnt it should little fab work.  The plus is the 2002 Ram came with a 360 also so fab work should be minimal.
