This is a 4.2L i6 motor.  Tachometer quit once it got cold.  This truck has a Python alarm/remote start system on it and the remote start feature quit working the same day.  When its parked inside the tach and remote start still works.  I imagine the remote start feature needs a signal from the tach to make sure the motor is running.  I've read something about the "stepper motors" in the gauge cluster that makes the needles move go bad.  Has anyone had any experience with this?

2007 Chrysler 300 2.7L "Wifes car" No complaints other than it slow. Seems like the more I beat on it the faster it goes.
