Its getting the P0300 code, no specific cylinder.  The misfire is noticeable under light to hard acceleration but not at idle.  I've also noticed the headlights and dashlights dim a bit when the misfire is happening.

I bought new plugs and intake gaskets "because I have to remove the intake to get to the plugs", I haven't put them in yet.  Other than changing those and checking the alternator output with my fluke meter and checking grounds, does anyone else know what I should check or have seen an issue like this? Confused

Maybe check it with a scanner to see if there are other codes that may be the root cause?  For instance, recently I had a bad crank sensor that was causing misfire codes as well as others related trouble codes.

Before this I was getting an o2 sensor code "downstream" due to an exhaust leak after the cat, not fixed yet.  Now the only code I show with the scanner is only the p0300, no pending codes either.

How many miles? Probably just due for a tune-up. I've had them miss and not yet show a code.

You got it used too right? Probably never had plugs yet. Modern ones claim to be good for 100k, you're 1/4 past that.....

The only thing I did so far to this car since I bought it is put tires on it.  I was getting an o2 sensor code because of an exhaust leak, but somehow that went away when the misfire code showed up.
