Ellis 1600 Mitering Bandsaw
«

Finally bought a horizontal mitering bandsaw for use in the shop. It is the Ellis 1600 model which is American made.
This should increase productivity and be easier on my back. I was previously using a vertical band saw and chop saw. The chop saw creates a lot of dust which I am sick of cleaning up so I am happy not to need that any longer.
I've searched for years trying to find one used to no avail. People tend to buy and hold onto them I guess.

2007 Chrysler 300 2.7L "Wifes car" No complaints other than it slow. Seems like the more I beat on it the faster it goes.

So far I love it. Fast and true cuts with no effort on my part. I also love the dual mitering capability.
And, it's American made!
Wish I would have bought it years ago.
