My Brother built a 1980 Trans Am with a stroked out Poniac 455 block "now a 496".  The comp cams lifters for this motor were questionable at best when installed because of the amount of play on the bottom roller. One lifters roller self destructed and damaged his cam after only 400 miles. He's also sent the block to a machinist to get it checked out.

Can you get the exact cam I'm posting below and more durable roller lifters? Or can you get a flat tappit cam with flat tappit lifters of the same or similar profile

POS Chevy Trailblazer 4x4, the 4x4 is the only good part. This thing is a turd.

2007 Chrysler 300 2.7L "Wifes car" No complaints other than it slow. Seems like the more I beat on it the faster it goes.

Here's the receipt for the cam and lifters for cross reference.

Oh yea, I was wrong on the block CID.  Originally it was a Pontiac 400 block now stroked to 474cid.

Thanks

This would take me some research as I am not as familiar with Pontiac engines as I am with Chrysler, Dodge, and some Jeep parts.

I am familiar with the cam specs but there is not much profit margin in off-the shelf cams and any mistake on my part would wipe out any profit and cost me $.

I'd have to wrangle with my supplier over pricing and try to figure out alternate lifters etc.

Unfortunately I have too much work to do in the shop right now to research and make phone calls etc.

I'd be willing to check when I have more time Chris but right now I am slammed with work.

I understand.

If it helps you, forget about the flat tappit cam and lifters quote.

When you get the time, I appreciate it.
