anyone have any experience with any of the brands that Rockauto has? parts are such a crapshoot these days... and I already have 2 heater cores to do, don't want to do either of them a 2nd time... OSC, Spectra, TYC, ADI/Pro, UAC (or is it UAG?)   are these all the same unit made by one company and just reboxed?  I wish Modine was still an option.... the choice would be made.... as it is all that I see available are aluminum and not copper/brass...

I know neither of these trucks will be around another 20 years, but I don't plan to dump either anytime soon either.....
the 92 needs a heater core, (not gonna worry about the AC)  the 96 needs an evaporator.... so figure should change heater core while Im in there for as little additional cost as I am talking....

found a seller on Ebay that has 2 "Ready Aire" made in Mexico pic looks like copper/brass for this application ..... about $10 ea more than Rock auto...  looks like old stock.... lots of cars and trucks from Shadow/ Sundance. Dynasty etc take the same core..... back to around 1990 and up to around Y2k....

Found a better one, same price as that one also on eBay from Auto zone of all places,
Copper and brass, about$10 more than Rock Auto, seems like an eBay only deal, at least auto zone is reputable to take care of things if need be/  I wonder sometimes about other sellers there at EPay
But for future reference and for the good of anyone else out there that may be wondering the same thing, any one have any experience with the brands noted? Anything especially good or bad with the modern brands of heater cores or better yet work for a distributor or something that might have some inside info on any of them?

I am beating my head against the wall.... I got my heater cores from Useless Zone today... I went by their pic on the sale, what I got wasn't like the pic. Pic showed copper/brass, I got Spectra Premium "made in CHINA"   the description with the sale did say aluminum, I looked back at the website  after  I got them and opened the box....
same thing the local store stocks, but not what they showed.....

I've used TYC a few times, I've had zero issues.  Recently I put a TYC radiator and TYC radiator fan's in my 300, everything fit well and has been working fine for 5000 miles.

2007 Chrysler 300 2.7L "Wifes car" No complaints other than it slow. Seems like the more I beat on it the faster it goes.
