That is the first time I've ever seen an easy out work, but the threads weren't frozen up either.
My easy outs are evidence of buying them in futile attempts to remove frozen bolts and are merely ornaments in my tool box.

HAHA, Me too. I've had one work once and that was a tiny 3/16's easy out. I usually snap off the easy-out and then have to drill forever using multiple carbide bits. I dont use them anymore, its not worth the regret of using them.
