My Trailblazer is now German

I've had this slow pig for a couple years. Recently it has developed some electrical issues.
Today the gauge cluster started flashing every light possible and I could hear relays buzzing. When it stopped everything seemed normal except the truck now self identifies as a German. I looked at the owners manual and it gives instructions on how to change the language but none of the features or buttons exist on my truck.
If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this or wants to make fun of this situation have at it.

When I start the truck this morning it says FAHRAR 1 on the display. That looks too close to Fuhrer, I'm selling this thing!

Well my Son turned 16 and wanted his license. I told him get the trailblazer dash fixed and you can have the truck and take your driving test in it. He got the gauge cluster out in 1 hour LOL, and on the back of the cluster it had a big sticker "refurbished" so it a known Chevy issue. We went to the junk yard and got one for $60, he popped it in and it worked like a champ. Also now the truck has 30,000 less miles on it. As soon as he got the dash back together he took a 5 minute shower and said let's go to the DMV Dad! LOL it was a good day, I'm very proud of him.
So if your in North Central Illinois watch out for my Son. I also learned my insurance company hates me LOL.

yup. 10 years ago when my son got his license (in my 83 D 250 pickup) I called State Fraud and my monthly rate went from $26/mo to $86/mo before he ever got behind the wheel...
I expected it to maybe double. I wasn't ready for triple-plus....

I'm insuring 4 drivers and 4 vehicles at $214/mo. My Ram has full coverage though.

That was just for that truck alone, I had 3 on my policy at the time.
Kid is now married, his wife brought a trailblazer into the family, which they recently sold and put the money from that towards a Yukon. I'm afraid she's trying to corrupt my kid with these chevys. I'm just so glad that she isn't stooping so low as to want a honduh or toyota or kia, hyundai or some other sorry excuse for transportation
