Has anyone tried increasing the size of the PCV tube on the 4.7 to increase the flow of bypass gas back into the intake manifold?

I know the 4.7 has a different PCV system, but isn't there a tube instead of a valve?  Is there a restrictor in the tube flow somewhere that could be drilled out bigger.

If there is a 'test port' nipple for checking vacuum, maybe an additional tube could be run to there.

There is naturally a lot of water vapor in bypass gas.  Traditionally this water vapor was pulled thru the PCV system to keep it from congealling in the oil.

Plugging in one of those electrically heated dipsticks year round while the truck is parked overnight would decrease the sludge by keeping the oil above 212 degrees so that it would "boil off", and the pre-heated engine would give slightly better MPG during the morning drive.

Man... makes me not want to look at mine!  Got 16k on it as of today, so I'm probably right in that range! Sad
