Working on a 06 Charger R/T running the 6005 Series KRC heads, 210LX cam, coated Dynatech headers. He ran a best of 14.1 before at 97mph.
Cam swaps are a pain on this car. The front valence was removed along with the radiator to do all the work. Also made it easeir to bolt on the headers and the rear passenger valve cover bolts. Superchips will program this combo for us. I did use a 170 thermostat, and wired in a manual switch for the low side fan relay. The owner complained the car heat soaked between runs and would go from 2.1 to a 2.3 sixty footer. This will allow him to run the fans on low in the pits. Picts coming up...

One more thing, don't use the band clamps, cut and weld 3 bolt 3" header collectors in place. Later!

Car is up and running and ready for the tune. The initial feeling is that 3000 rpm a 150shot came on, then smacked the 5500 shift/rev limiter instantly. So it's getting the tune done tommorrow. His best was a 9.1 in the 1/8th mile. It pulls like a 8.1 car now and no tune. Smooth idle and was idling on its own within 1 hour of drivability. Keep you posted on the dyno and track when the program is finished.

If superchips is doing the tuning....Please tell me that they will offer it as a download in their flashpaq website, Cuz I am interested, but don't like the idea of shipping my PCM all the way to Florida from Dubai *mid east*
BTW what would 8.1 sec 1/8mile be in a 1/4mile ?

Superchips could not do the tuning. We had to tune it in house for this cam. The car started with 252 rear wheel and on the dyno today it was 319hp with 360ft/lbs. The AFR was 12.0, so the adaptives have not moved it to 13.0 yet. We ran the factory exhaust system which needs help and will be back next week for install. But the 210LX pulls 18" vacuum and the PCM was originally only pulling out 10% fuel. It is a very MDS friendly camshaft. The shift points were the only part we could not adjust, they are still 5500rpm. But with the stock exhaust, the peak was 5200 rpm. Very easy to drive, and with torque management gone and 360 ft/lbs, traction will be a problem for the owner. The dyno was tough with an all gear pull the only option. Plus we were 100% humidity and 98 degrees. He is going to bracket race the car the next week before coming back to finish the exhaust and re-dyno.

The cam needs to be the KRC 218LX with these heads, and that may still be an option for the owner. Superchips does keep all our tunes we build for them in the database, but upper management from Superchips shut us down due to scheduling. We have another one going together for them using the 6.1 next. I suspect the customer will run a 13.1 to a 13.4 ET with the torque that high. Later!

Is this the black Charger from the older gentleman that lives in Orlando?  If so, I have seen his car run (we have raced a few times), and it ran damn good for a mostly stock car.

Thats him, the Superchips controller for the tranny did not checksum with the custom flash so we have to set it back to normal, then flash again for Friday. PITA.
