Gone but not forgotten.... sold the day after Thanksgiving to a young man from Chicago.  Good times and good decision to let it go.

I am going to post some pics of my two Jeep Cherokees this weekend after I take some pictures! They might have some mud on the tires since we live way out there in the Northeastern Panhandle of West Virginia! Almost heaven!

Martinsburg...... in the panhandle?  How close to Martinsferry?  Town name sounds familiar.

I used to live in Columbus and passed thru that part of WV a few times going to MD and Eastern PA.

I am right on the Potomac, just about, down 81, and I do think that Martinsferry is near by. I just moved here in the last 2 years to take on a new job at Shepherds University in Shepherdstown. I am the Programmer/Analyst there. I am about 10 to 20 miles from Mason-Dixon drag way in Hagerstown, Maryland, 68 miles or so from DC, and about the same from Baltimore.  I'll check out exactly where Martinsferry is and let you know how far I am from there!

Ok... I recongnize the place from a drive out to Northern VA and WDC.  Martins Ferry is over on the Ohio River.  I guess I am geographically challenged  :mullet:

Very nice...  How do you like the WJ?  4.0 or 4.7?

I like both of the Jeeps equally well. The 93 is a 4.0 with 4 WD that you have to put in manually. The 99 Jeep has the 4.7 with the full time 4 WD. Plus, as you know, one is the earlier body , with the 99  the newer body style. I think that the 4.0 Jeep is a great back woods warrior while the 4.7 does fine off road, but is a great cruiser! That big hill that is my driveway was never a problem for the 93, but one night after a snow storm, the Black one would not make the hill with all the snow and ice. However, after that night, both made the hill just fine even though the snow hung around for several weeks. BTW: Neither has a problem cruising 80 down the freeway, but the 4.7 is faster, of course! The 93 is mostly mine, and the 99 is mostly my wife's, but she makes me take the 99 on snow days because she likes the 4.0 and manual 4 WD in severe weather!
