For Sale

1993 Dakota 318 5-spd, 1-of-none!

Body:

1993 Dakota reg cab, short bed.  About 119k miles on it.  Paint is that teal/green color.  Paint is about a 7.5 or 8 out of 10.  Theres a few small dings on a few panels, and the biggest on the Right Rear bedside.  Im not sure what happened... it was there before I got it.

Grey bench seat interior in very nice shape.  One cig burn on the seat and holes in the door panels from the previous owners stereo.

Tint is 5% on the back and the next step lighter (15 maybe?) on the sides.

Suspension:

Truck is lowered 2/3.5.  Belltech 2" spindles in the front, 2" WC shackle hangers and 1/1.5/2" WC Spring hangers (on the middle hole now). Stock springs and shocks all around.

Wheels/Tires:

Weld Draglites, 15x5 front, 15x8 rear.
Yokohoma Avid T4 205/70/15
Yokohoma Avid S/T 255/60/15

Drivetrain:

93 5.2L V8 with just over 100k on it.  Fresh lower bearings and crank grind about 2,000 miles ago.  100% stock except for PCM and headers listed below.  I installed this motor myself and used the stock V6 engine harness but very nicely ran the extra 2 injector wires with all factory plugs and pins, and then rewrapped the harness to look origonal.

NV3500 from 98 dakota.  Since this is a newer trans, theres no speedo drive on it, therefore the speedo doesnt work.  I have a complete NV from a 96 that I will throw in for parts and the cases.  It makes a bearing or gear noise, but could be rebuilt.

Stock 8.25 axle with gear and LSD listed below.

Front converted to 5 lug with new Parts store rotors.  Rear converted to 5 lug with stock Gen 1 Dakota axles

Mods:

Kustom battery tray mounted in the right rear under the bed.  Very secure with 3/8" rods, doesnt get in the way of hauling anything in the bed, and the battery is easily accessable.  Slides out with the proper angles, or comes out very easily if you take the bumper off (quick & easy)

MP/DT Headers for a 94 5spd dak with y-pipe.  Single 2.5" exhaust with a Hemi (origonal hemi car replacement) muffler.  This muffler gives a nice modest idle but sounds good under load and flows damn good!

93 MP PCM

3.91:1 gears with Dana Trak-Lok LSD, just over 1,000 miles on both, never raced or abused.

CalTracs, not installed.  I have the steel bushing pressed into the front leaf spring eye, but never installed the brackets or rod.

Devilbrad.com bumper sticker

Problems:

Steering Rack leaks but still feels tight.

Every now and then it will have a lifter tick.  Sometimes it goes away right away, sometimes not until the next start.

The dash ABS light started coming on not too long ago.  It used to turn off after a short time, now it stays on.  Probably just the sensor.

$3750

Located in St Petersburg, FL
Delivery possibly available
Will consider selling without the wheels for less
